#3 similar to #2 kinda
There was an attempt from the side of the paint, described as a jumper, from the side, not stright on or even an angle facing teh basket. When yo uare close to the basket and not shooting directly on...its fairly impossible to imagine the ball having a enough force and hitting the rim at such an angle as to go over the backboard. Maybe a layup attempt, that happens, (Nick Young just did it recently) they lose control on the way to the hoop...but a jump shot?
Doesn't sound irrealistic to me: if your shot go realy high before hiting the rim, it can bounce over the backboard.
edit: it already happened to me, but some guys around there can tell you how bad my shoot is though!
