I was curious how LI and LP differ in terms of the role the SG and SF play? What skills are most important for each position when playing each tactic?

As a side question, which tactic will result in the least number of shots taken by the PG and SG?

the different is quite big in my eyes, the SF utilize the "big men" skill much more, so he need much more rebounding, IS, ID and maybe Blocking.

I like my SG look more like a PG, or a really balanced guard(i look normally to have 2 combo Guards).

the pure pg typ never work for me, but that also show how different aspect you have to consider with your team build.

no i have the problem that those player kill the shooting percentages of there team mate since they ain't an option in the defense, and the system reduces them defensic attention to them and spare to the other players(this mechanic existed at least in the old ge*, and i am quite sure that exist now ... And even without it there is one player missing who can convert decent shot oppurtunity, so that the other player have to take worse shot9

* in the old ge imho the pass only guards was better then now

So even if like PA is 15+ You might see a guy who has more shots than dishes each game.

I'm contributing this to PA being lower than JS and/or DR. If this is the case, the guy won't pass first, but shoot first.

Passing is definitely the most important thing here, even for you C and PF because offensive flow is the key of executing it properly( Of course your players should also have good IS, especially the bigs).

While the others IMO, really depends on how you look at it, and how you want it to be executed.

If you want your bigs to dominate the key, making inside shots after inside shots( I think you're looking at this point of view )then I think you SG and SF should have really good passing, and maybe some IS and RB on them( especailly your SF ). Also, having good passing means having a good flow, thus allowing the ball to get to your bigs, and IMO reduces the shots taken by your outside players. If you're playing LP, Handling should also be good enough since your players tend to hold the ball longer.

Personally, I would prefer at least repectable/strong JS and JR on them, just in case the ball is unable to reach your bigs, their shots will have at least some chances of getting in.

So what attributes should be emphasized for the SG and SF in the Low post offense?

The SG should be a good passer in both tactics.

JK: So what's the difference to Low Post then?
Parrot: If we compare Look Inside to Low Post, the differences are not huge. The biggest difference is that Jump Range is more important in Look Inside. Low Post uses more Handling, and the SF and SG use more Passing. This is probably related to the fact that in Low Post, there is more weight on the Inside Shot skill of the C, and less weight on the Inside Shot skill of the SF, and a little less on SG and PG as well. So in Low Post, the inside attack is focussed on the Inside Shot skills of C and PF, whereas in Look Inside the SF and to a smaller extent also SG and PG matter more.
