am i missing something here , i am having no luck at all with this game , trainees getting injured every week , i buy a great 50k player , get his game shape to proficient massive dmi , blowing teams away , then he gets injured and now i cant buy him minutes , every match i play him in he gets injured after 3 mins or worse yet fouls out after 16 minutes , i mean come on , that is just ridicolous , its not like this guy has mediocre outside defence or even inside for that matter , absolutely horrendous luck is the only way i can describe it. i know this game is supposed to be random and i always enjoyed that but this is so stupid its getting impossible to manage my other players game shape coz i never know when my backup is going to get loaded with another 30 mins more than i expected , or worse yet an extra 46 mins like in the case when he was injured after 2 minutes. Its gotten so bad i feel like selling this guy for no solid reason other than i think this guy may have brought the wrah of his norse gods with him.

Ooof. I looked at your player. Those are some tough stat lines for the last two weeks. The only thing I can think of is that he is more susceptible to fouls since his game shape is mediocre right now. Or perhaps the guy he was guarding draws a lot of fouls. The good thing is that you are in first place, and your best player will most likely return to form in the next couple games and then resume dominating.

Also, I'm pretty sure 'Norse God Wrath Bringing' is a hidden attribute.

I have had several players like that and while it is annoying there is only one solution, sell him. There is a hidden trait, physicality that means that a player will both committ more fouls and get injured a lot more. Sounds like your guy. Now it could just be bad luck but I tried to persist with a player like that in the past and it just caused me constant problems. Once I sold him and bought a less violent player the problem was solved.

its always good to check if he is foul prone - check player history a year before --- this should give you a fair idea of the physicality attribute (before you buy him) i don't really agree with him being injury prone that's really just bad luck! i've had 2 injuries to the same player in one season one was 2 weeks and after his GS was decent he gets injured again, you really have to have good backups...

I always check players foul stats before buying them I just can't stand foul prone players after my previous horrible experiences.

i don't really agree with him being injury prone that's really just bad luck

FACT
Aggressive players foul more. Aggressive players are fouled more. All injuries happen on fouls. Therefore aggressive players injure opponents more and get injured themselves more.

OPINION
I think that after the GE has determined that an injury event has happened there is a second randomisation. This is affected by the level of the doctor which reduces the severity of the injury. I think it is also affected by the hidden physicality/aggression attributes of the players involved which makes the injuries more severe. It makes sense but I cannot provide proof, however the fact that these aggressive guys are always injured and not just in game but often for weeks suggests this is true.
