Is this a bug?

In my league this player (9404699) was chosen as the back up SF for the allstar squad. But the problem is that he has only played one game in this league, he was recently bought. Does that still make him eligible for an allstar spot?

Check the Suggestions they are important

I just checked the game manuel, and nothing is mentioned about that. Then I guess there's no game # requirement for the ASG.
IMO, 6 or 7 games should the min. to be eligible.

It might be odd, but the situation is not a usual one. I guess that code could be improved but such things only happen very rarely, in leagues where players often change owners and some (better) candidates, end up retiring before the ASG, like (9701439).

It's not a very big issue, but we'll note it and try to fix eventually.
