So in my where to draft 1 I asked where people thought my team should Draft for...The results were that the majority of people said SF so I was wondering what are the height limits for SF's in BB? I know in the NBA its between 6'6" and 6'11" but I'd like to know what it is for BB.

If you know how to train who wouldn't want to go for SF, most valuable player. Obviously it is so much easier to train a Big or a guard, but for long-term I would def go with an SF.
SF's don't have a limit in BB nor do they have one in the NBA(ever heard of Chuck Hayes? 6'6 Center?)
But the height is important in BB for training. I would recommend anywhere between 6'2-6'10, sure they can be taller or shorter but you would want one somewhere in between there to get the most out of them. If you ask me 6'6 or 6'7 would be perfect.

Something I went with recently is trying to find guys who are like 6'9+ but listed as a PG or SG. You figure that way they should start with good secondaries and get those polished off relatively soon, and then hammer the inside skills to make a much better all-around post player than the typical tri-skilled junk Cs that fester throughout the game.

If you're not really scouting and just hoping for a random player to be a good sale value, especially if you're picking late, doing the combine and prioritizing the guys who are SF height can be a good tactic. You figure a lot of teams are going to either be looking for big men or guards so there's a decent chance that your best bet to find a guy that everyone else passed is on the 6'7 type players.

That can be a great start, I would recommend that too, but you probably wouldnt want his IS/ID/RB 2 or lower.

If you know how to train

that is the thing

a new team is likely to screw themselves trying to balance training guys often out of position with getting wins

i think 4 new players they should try 2 keep training easy but effective

a sf is the opposite

add in the difficulty of actually drafting someone suitable 2 be trained as a sf...forget it

So...you mean like Marshall Ray (22099551)?

When I drafted him he was:

age 18
potential superstar
height 6'7"
salary $6022
no low skills in any of JS(6)/OD(7)/IS(6)/ID(7)/REB(7)

Now he is one of the top defenders in the country and is considered the top SF prospect in the USA for his age. He may not be Robbie Serrano or a young Bill Weeks, but he's the next best thing. Of course, such guys are very rare.

i believe some weaknesses are ok, he jsut need overall a good skillsum. You need to put training in anyway, if it more of one or another is quite equal.(and your first choiche JS, is a pretty easy to train skill which i would be a weak skill i forgive easily)
