You can expect him to take a fair number of shots. 3 point shots, I don't know. But definitely he'll shoot a decent amount of shots. It's likely that it will still be less than your guards, except if your guards are atrociously bad, otherwise he'll take like around 70-80% shots of what your guard takes PROVIDED he has higher shooting(by a little or lot) skills than your guard.
