can somebody tell me what the two bottom rows in the player history represent? they both say box score, but they don't seem to make sense. for instance, was looking at a player who's total minutes apparently up to this point in the season was 217 and the average minutes say 6.9. yet, when you break that down into the number of games he has played in, 11 to be exact, that 6.9 does not compute. infact, the average is something like 19-- or something. Nor does the bottom box score number tally exactly right in terms of his total minutes played, which say 14. yet just like the above table, seem to incorrect when you look at the minutes he's played in each game, way over a 14 minute total. . noticed this as well with some of the other columns, like the point columns. maybe I'm interpreting these two charts incorrectly. so help please is appreciated for future usage.

Well if i'm right, the 217 mins represent the amount of minutes psyed the ENTIRE season. The 6.9 tells his average. Lets say that he plsyed about 4 mins most of the season and then for three games he played 10+. The computer calculates for the whole season and thats the average.Got it?

hey there. yeah, i got it. sorry, my bad. didn't realize I'd messed up until after I posted this. again, sorry. hey by the way, you wouldn't happen to know how long a player usually plays in this game would you? I've seen lots of players on the market that are 30 years old and well past in many cases. just curious. thanks.

Wellif their potential is all-star, it's about 35. My star SF is 34 and he's still doing fine. Perrenial all-star and up,....well, if they were not trained good it's 33-35. If they were trained right, then it's 35-37. If they are all-time-greats, maybe they could last until 37 or 38. But maximum I think is 38

Players don't retire by themselves. They keep playing until they are fired. However when a player reaches 33 they start losing skills.

Just to be clear potential doesn't affect how long a player lasts. Players are kept until you fire them

Well, I'm doing estimates. Estimates aren't real. Anyways did a player ever last 36 and higher aged?

So your estimating when people fire players? Players can last forever if you choose to keep them. There are plenty of players over 36 here is one for you http://www.buzzerbeater.com/player/860563/overview.aspx
