Welcome to the Season Awards Show, hosted by the Greeeeeeeat....STINGER!
INDIVIDUAL AWARDS
Offensive Player of the Year - Timot Takatsy [Everett Gym Rats]. The man can play. He scored 26 points per game, but more importantly, gave the love back to his teammates with 7 assists per.
Honorable Mention - Vasco Silva [Milwaukee Bucks]. He doesn't have the gaudy stats, but he shot 49% from the field and a blistering 47% from 3.
Defensive Player of the Year- Chris Stevens [Crown Heights Knights]. He had an amazing year, with 4.5 game changing defensive plays per game (2 steals, 2.5 blocks per). What's better, he was at 11 boards per and 18 points per game.
Honorable Mention - Siktas Bernadasius [Buzzerbees] and Vasco Silva [Milwaukee Bucks.]
Silva averaged an amazing 3 steals per game, while Bernadasius averaged 1 steal and 2 blocks per game, while only playing 29 minutes per.
6th Man - Jorge Mario Iturre [Milwaukee Bucks.] Iturre averaged a double double per game, 15 ppg and 10 boards per game, while only playing 29 minutes per. As well as the 15 - 10 stat line, he also averaged 2 blocks and 1 steal per game.
Honorable Mention - Here's a sweep of the 6 man award by the Milwaukee Bucks, as well as a familiar appearance: Vasco Silva. His stat line included 20 points with 49% FG, and 3 steals per, while only averaging 29 points per game. He wasn't really a sixth man, but the minutes he played per game qualified him for the award.
****MVP****
Timoty Takatsy! [Everett Gym Rats]
He averaged the most points AND assists in the league, as well as having 5 rebounds per game. However, his MVP performance did not affect the Gym Rats standings in the league. Great Job Gym Rats for having the MVP of this V.4 season!
Honorable Mention - Chris Stevens [Crown Heights Knights.] With a big 18-10 statline for the big man, as well as having 2 steals and 2.5 blocks per, the Knights big man finishes a close second in the voting for the league MVP.
TEAM AWARDS
Offensive Team - Milwaukee Bucks. With a blistering 2701 points scored during the season, the Bucks finish #1 in PPG, with -- check this out -- an AMAZING 122 Points Per Game in Total Offense.
Defensive Team - Buzzerbees. With a show stopping defense, the best team in the league held opponents to a league low ridiculous 74 points per game.
Best Overall Team - Buzzerbees. We finished 4th in Offense Per Game, and 1st in Defense Per Game.
Manager of the Year - King Winning. He did a great job training Chris Stevens, and are looking to make it to the finals after finishing 14-8 last year.
