My theory on injuries is they are provide a net loss of enjoyment in the game. Total complete suck when they happen to you. When then happen to an opponent, eh, could help but i'd rather beat a full team then get help from an injury.

In BB we can have the best of both worlds. The most enjoyable aspects of real life can be included, and the worst not. In real life, injuries just suck completely. Why have them here? Please don't say "for the reality factor", as BB is so far from reality with training, tanking, tactics, etc. It's bizarro basketball, with nothing but a cool GE as the glue for all the quirky, unintuitive goofy features.

A big hearty "yes" from me on this poll.

well, you can't can't hve injuries in the game. It just makes it so exciting. Like today in my Semi-Final I had 2 players injured but I still fought adversity to beat the #3 seed. (I'm #4 seed) And I WON! I t knida makes it exciting. Oh, and we really need to make training realistic and the coach thing. I still don't know why theres no coach? It's just crazy. It's just insane................are there no coaches in the NBA? NO! I think coaching can make a really great argument to be added to BB. Makes the game better. It looks like finally BB will be able to stay at 50k users for a while. These new features would make the game users go up to possible even 55k users. Anyways, I don't support the injury idea.

But the more dimentions you take away from the game the less it will be BB and the more it will be a point and click game.

Two seasons in a row I've had 2 starters injured in my last PO game of the season. How does that add a dimension to the game? A season of planning, training, managing GS and than random injuries potentially ruin it all. This is magnified as you move up to higher levels of competition and there is more parity between teams. I guess this a dimension that is considered important to this game, which the small sampling from this poll seems to indicate.

I see injuries as a way to inject some randomness into the game, which helps prevent league results from being the same season after season. That gives worse teams some hope that they could be lucky, and get a chance to beat a better team. Without some hope for well managed, yet worse teams, to pull an upset, things get boring very quickly. The combination of gameshape, enthusiasm/effort, and injuries are a way to improve overall degree of competition.

But of course injuries are random, and could screw worse teams as well. Still, from the point of view of a worse team, getting an injury to their own team is less of a detriment, cause they probably think, "well, I wasn't gonna win that anyway, so whatever." Still, there are mechanisms in the game that any manager can use to reduce injuries, allowing managers to either accept injury risk and save money on a low level doctor, or pay money to have a high level doctor. Yet nothing is 100%, so injuries can still happen at any time.

Just no. I didn't think someone who would have such a good team and spent this long on BB would even suggest this.

The lack of Trophys in your trophy cabinet, show you have been plagued with injuries every playoff...
I might of purchased Mr.Glass from Unbreakable myself. Played 2 mins for my team, then went out for 2 weeks with injury. I might be looking at a lvl6-7 doc for the next season:)
Oh, btw this poll sucks, injuries obviously need to stay in the game!

Im unsure why a suggestion to remove something that is realistic is that bizarre in a game that's full of all kinds of unrealism.
