I was thinking about how the Stamina skill gets a really bad rap here, and I was also thinking that maybe I can be different from most by trying something out that I don’t think has been suggested as a strategy here before, but maybe somebody’s already tried this. I was thinking that maybe instead of spending the season balancing my lineups to ensure that GS stays at Strong or better for all of my key players, perhaps I should get all of my players’ Stamina to Strong or better and not worry about GS so much. Even after all this time I’m still just not sure how GS and Stamina affect the rest of the skills as a game goes on, but if it’s possible that they are weighted about equally, then when I hit a season when I’m not focused on training and I want to put my best lineup in every game I would think that freeing myself from obsessing over GS will win me more games over the course of a season and not kill my team in the playoffs. So, is this a rational approach, or have I dropped myself on my head too many times?

He's brilliant! It will work!
A lobotomy will do him some good. It's a bad idea
I don't know. It will make for a good study.

Don't ask what sort of Chunks they are, you probably don't want to know. Blowing Chunks since Season 4!

Okay, but by how much so is this the case. Is ST of 10 better than a GS of 8? Does ST need to get to legendary [insert Wilt Chamberlain joke here]? Or is GS the Ruler of the BB World?

Both can go hand in hand, but GS is better IMO. And I think Loid tried to do the same thing, but know he is in a D.III league.

I had a guy with great stamina and he constantly overperformed. But he always had good GS and nice experience, so I wouldn't know what factor took the bigger part in it.

I'd also go with GS though. It depends on quality of your subs. I had a SF with ST=2 and he played very good...for 24 minutes/game. But I had a good sub, so it worked out. If I hadn't, I couldn't afford a player with ST=2.

Or in Andre Miller's case, play with injuries.

I think GS works somewhat like a multiplier and stamina works relative to minutes across the stretch of the game....

From my experience and experience of others on forums I think the same. I remember Venomous Scorpions had good stamina on players and would always come back from deficit in 4th quarter. Thrylos played against him few seasons ago in semfinals I think and although Thrylos' team was better built for tactics he played, VS's players had more rough power and better stamina. Something like this year's Indiana against Miami Heat. Pacers have depth, but Miami has rough superstar power.
