my arena has said it is going to be completed in 1 day for last 3/4 days. I know its an estimation on how long it will take but surely it doesn't be off by that much?

same thing here my friend ,

I've started and expansion of my arena on thursday or friday, it then was said to take 5 days.
Well now we're 3 days later, how come that the time still displays 5 days, and it doesn't go down ??

Because i think to remember when i did previous expansions that the number of days decreased with each day, and now it doesn't, is this normal ??

Are you sure it was 5 days at the beginning? For expansions like yours I've never seen less than 6 days

Absolutely, it has been 5 days from the beginning (thursday), and now 4 days later, it is STILL 5 days !
Something is definitely not right, either the builders have gone on a strike or they all fell asleep on their first building day !

It's been a week now since the expansion started, and STILL it says 5 days !!
So in 7 days, the number of days (cfr. 5) hasn't decreased at all !

Still convinced this is not a bug ??

Or maybe, it will say all of a sudden that the expansion is finished, so it only displays the number of days it takes from the start, and it keeps that number until the end ?
I think that is the only possibility that is left here, because otherwise it must be a bug !

Are you sure you told em, start working now, and not, get a vacation week and then come?

Its rare, but, nothing surprise me if we are talking about arena expansion duration xD

Well, i guess they must have gone on vacation, because otherwise it is not possible, i did about 10 expansions before, and this has never never happened before !
I don't know what the builders are doing, but it is certainly not building, that's for sure !

ANd what's worst of all, in in he meantime i keep losing revenues, because my arena is always full ! And otherwise i would have sold more places ! That's a shame really :-(

As for me, you can close the thread, because it was BB-Marin who finally was able to give me a satisfying explanation of this strange behavior of the contractor and builders.
I'll quote here what he said, so you all know the reason why :

"I've inspected what happened and it's not a bug. You were just extremely unlucky.

Let's explain it like this. Due to a string of events unrelated to you, your arena builders decided they won't show up for work 7 days in a row. I've convinced the builders union to put pressure on the contractors and to do double the work today. So, they did and you can even expect more progress tonight, since they are now working round the clock.
Hope this helps ;) "

And yeah, he was right, because since now they began working round the clock for my expansion, the number of days today decreased immediately from 5 to 3.

So yeah, MOD-mayeah you were about right with your strike...

Strange though, i've done about 10 expansions before, and this is the first time i know of this has happened, i didn't even have a clue such a thing was even possible !
