I have been training two guards for several seasons now, of whom one has a chance to go for national team eventually I believe. But now I managed to draft a decent sf/pf, which I actually lack in the rotation. So basically I need some help how to manage my training so both players would benefit from it. Right now I`m working on OD.

If it were me I would just stick with the MVP, he can be trained pretty quickly for like 3 more seasons and the other trainee has only star potential. I would keep working to get the MVP on the NT because that will be way more benenifial for the good of the team and your merchandise sales... But that's just what I would do.

Is it common, for a 6'6 guy training pressure to pop ID?

I'd say if you want to train the new kid, you'll just let him tag along with your MVP trainee. No reason to sacrifice the potential NT player for a star potential, even if that kid has 5k starting skills. Plus I doubt he'll make it in SF, with that height and bad outside skills to drag down the training speed of his skills. Not a good combination, unless you don't mind just having him tag along with no intention of him becoming a backup player or more.

Yeah. Training a big guy in outside skills can be useful, but starting a tall guy from awful OD is going to be a painful experience. There's no harm in letting him get whatever training the primary guy gets, but this is definitely a back-seat trainee that at best gets to ride along with the bus driver.

you mis-read.

I'm asking:
I have a 6'6 guy. I trained pressure him, a 6'1, and 6'4 guy. the 6'6 guy popped in ID from Pressure. Is that normal/typical that Pressure can pop ID?
