I joined in 2008, I was a supporter for 3 1/2 years.

So box scores...

It's midnight my time. My game was played at 7.30 PM. Still no box score. It's not even exceptional, pretty ordinary actually in many countries. I know not everyone experience these delays so let me explain, there are jokes in the forums that there is a bug when the box scores unexpectedly show up on time !

I seem to remember when I joined that the box score would always show up after the game ended. It was so long ago that I am not sure I remember well, I might be making it up... When did it start ? Was it with the site's new design ? Hmm... Probably... I don't know. When was it ? Late 2009/early 2010 ? Please reassure me, am I losing my mind and making it up that it used to work ?

It's been years it is not working !

Why ?

Is it an issue taken seriously ?
Many times, I can only glance at the box score the day after !

I couldn't care less that the training is 3 hours late...
But come on, box scores ! It kills the heat of the game a bit.

Everything needed for the box score is retrieved or calculated before the live game, except the matchup ratings maybe. Scrap it if it's responsible.
I suspect the box score is generated early but not displayed for some reason. It's been years now, please find a way !

Readers, it's a top issue for those who experience this every league game.

It's top one with the random seed bug for me and years pass with nothing done on these 2 problems.

I have the utmost respect for the hardworking staff, this is not the point.

Every week, tuesdays and saturdays, the box score is not available for hours after the game.
A BB wouldn't dare answer it is the offseason processing like you do.
It's been for years in the "busy" geographical part of BB. I can see the league game box score within the first hour maybe a couple of times a season. Cup games box scores instantly show up, league games box scores take hours.

I am happy for you you are not experiencing it, obviously you are not. You probably think I am overemphasizing, well I am not, thousand of users know I am not.

I think users have been very patient with this issue. Years you know...
It looks like it is a forgotten issue, it is not even talked about or mentioned anymore, it is normal to wait for the box scores for hours now, it's a BB-feature.
So with this thread, I hope to remind the BB staff folks the huge box scores structural delay is perceived as an important issue.

In the grand scheme of things, it is not that harmful but it slows the social side of the game. No box score make it harder to have enthusiastic conversations in the chats or in the forums about the games just played. The next day, the heat is gone.

One thing I noticed in USA games last night was that the league standings and leaders was updated very quickly after games were finished. I wonder if this indicates that now that offseason stuff is over, we'll see an increase in box score generation speed? Hopefully. I can imagine it would be pretty frustrating to have to wait very long.

Maybe there's a way to give at least some information to the teams if not the full, complete box score? Tactical selections, effort use would be interesting right away I would guess. Then maybe PP100 and then the full stats breakdowns for the players. Of course, I don't have any clue which part of generating the box score takes up the most computing time.

I do have the same thing happen to me as for you. But very seldom as late as you said it was yesterday.

And to be honest box scores was rather fast at the second half of the season. Sometimes even instantly after game.

This is because you don't have the same thing happening to you. Can you envisage it ?
2 hours is the minimum I have seen for the last months and there was no offseason processing.
If you want to continue, get straight to the point and tell me that I am lying or mistaken about the delays.

I am not whining for yesterday in particular. I'd like to see this problem finally solved. I have read hopeful statements to get rid of it and improve things, they were all always made with sincere commitment, I have no doubt about it, but two years have passed and it gets worse and worse.

Sometimes even instantly after game.

I swear I salivated at that part and almost wet my pants.
