My starting SG and C both have proficient stamina and usually play more 40 minutes a game. As a result, my most talented backup at SG usually gets less than 5 minutes every game, on Strictly Following Depth-Chart. My other starters only have decent stamina, but get more breathers and allow backups into the game.

This is a problem that has been bothering me for a while. How can I spread minutes out to all of my players more effeciently? Do I allow my SG/C to drop stamina to get my backups more minutes?

I usually find Proficient Stamina too much. Respectable/Strong is better. Problem is that Stamina training trains everyone. Be good if you could take players out so Stamina doesn't get too high.

I like high stamina but unless there's a blowout on your weekly schedule, the minute management problem will exist.

One way around it is to play the player with high stamina once as a starter and twice as a backup during a given week. Or you could play him 48 minutes as a starter one game and as a backup in another. Since he has high stamina, his production won't dip much by playing him 48 minutes in a single game.
