Normally play m2m. But needed to hide a trainee on D, so I played 3-2 zone. The opponent played LI.
How come his guards were shooting jumpers against my bigs. I even saw his shooting guard take a long 3-pointer vs, my center midway through possession. Isn't the purpose of zone D to have guards defending the perimeter and bigs the inside?!
While this is the intention, 100% success rate, as always, is not guaranteed. Your zone coverage broke down.
