Good god, wtf? first off, two frickin injuries just happen to come the week I'm on vacation and cant change my frickin tactics? and second, those tactics that were used arent even the ones I wanted when I COULD use those players! I mean, why the HELL would I want to TIE on the top team in the other conference, on the road, just barely holding on to the lead in my own? no. I submitted a frickin normal for that game. I want a re-play of that game, because that f*ck-up by the system will, in all likely-hood, prevent me from being promoted this season. I'd even be fine with running the same tactics but with a normal, but what happened there was bull sh*t.

it it makes it any better my two top scorers where out for the game against you (42.2 PPG between them).

In the end, the championship will come down to home court and enthusiasm. So there's plenty of time before the real champion rises to the top.

Also, don't forget about bot promotion. So if you can get the conference championship (Big 8 or Great 8), you'll have a shot to promote to D4 that way. You'll want a great W-L record and good PD too.

...yes, home court and enthusiasm... but if you looked at the overall skill levels of the teams in the league, you'd see that I was all but required to take down everyone for the next few weeks to have a real shot at taking the #1 in the conference, which would GIVE ME HOME COURT IN THE PLAYOFFS!


lol, but really that crap on the OP was all about me venting about my bad luck... 2 starters and backup SG sitting down for the toughest opponent for weeks in either direction, just terrible luck. in fact, nearly lost another starter last night, fortunately it was a 1-night injury, he'll be back in the action saturday.
In other news, I'm bidding on a doctor right now, since the minimal skill with no specialty just isnt worth messing with even for a startup team, much less a team that's being plagued by injuries during an attempted title run

Yeah, level 2 or 3 doctor with massage specialty is what I would suggest. I think I used 2 for most of my time in V.72. Yeah, that 3 week injury really stinks!

I'd guess you'll still be the 1 seed in your conference. You have home games against MrWinless and the greeners at the end of the season. Keep up your PD and you'll be higher seeded than Atlanta.

alright then, thanks for the tip. I still say I'm losing to MrWinless, even though all 3 injuries will be fully recovered by then, because he knows what he's doing and I only won last month because HE (winless) was hit by the injury roulette. Greeners, though... should be a real good game. if I can take that one, I have a shot at winning the conference. #1 in the great 8 will be real important this season, because #2 will have a MUCH harder path to the championship, seeing as teams that were around less than a season are currently occupying the 4 and 5 holes, while it'll be either me, winless, or greeners sitting at 3 come the end of the season.
of course, BB is a pretty random system, so it only matters which of us is better that particular night, not overall. I still say beating the greeners when both of us had run CT, in greeners' home court, had to be a fluke.

anyway, nice to hear from you again... I see you're getting the hang of D-3. keep it up, man. It makes all the rest of us hopeful, to see that someone came out of this craphole known as D-5 and made some good things happen.
