Hey guys just started BB, and loving it so far read through the manuals and was wondering what i should do with my players I've brought a few but i think i was focusing to much on total DMI and I'm not sure if this what i should be doing, with a brand new squad like mine what things should i be looking at doing?

Firstly, thank you for your reply. With the trainees what skills should i be looking for them to have and how much should i pay for each, i recently brought a centre called Ybarra will he be sufficient in the centre role?

That Center looks like a good start. Now since you will be focusing on training Centers look to buy one or two more of something like him, at least 6'8 height at least 19 or younger, at least All-star potential and he should have good starting skills for inside shot, inside defense, rebounding and some shotblocking (these should be at least around average.)

Every season you get to draft 3 rookies. They can have up to "respectable" level of skills. So you want players that have at least "strong" in the skills you find important now midway through the season.
You can train players with lower potentials (6th-star), but you should know that you'll have to sell them as soon as you reach the next level. i.e. 6th man as soon as you promote, starter/star at the next promotion.
Good balance is to make 100k every week.

Keep expanding your arena. Also, increase your prices as your seats are selling out. The prices will be adjusted at the next update.

I would actually keep Quincy James (26932672) and make him a guinea pig. He can get left over training.
3rd guy if you 1pos train, or 5th/6th guy if you 2pos train.
He's got good potential, he's 18. You get a slight bonus in merchandize for home grown players.
In the beginning of the season he could fetch 100k, but now you might get 30k. If you keep him and train him you'll get much more.
You'll have to outbid everyone to keep him, and you'll lose 3% I believe.

Oh okay so say if he was to go for 30k in the bidding and thats what i bid i would only lose the 3%?

And so if i buy centres, i can train him aswell?

Yeah, you'll have to play him at C in scrimmages. Then if want to train outside skills on your center trainees, you'll have play them and him at PG.
Listed positions can change with training as well and have no bearing on how effective players are.
