Just to ask a question, should I have won my last league game against GR Venom? They are ranked 318 in the country, and I'm ranked 1082. I feel as if I stole one. But, I did go CT vs. TIE. So, I don't know. Any opinions?

Rankings are irrelevant. You Ct'ed his TIE and had good enough ratings to win. It's a minor upset but nothing shocking.

You shot a higher percentage and hit a very nice rate from behind the arc (7-14 from the PG and SG positions!). Getting more offensive boards than your opponent may have been fortunate but that could just as easily be considered a side effect of the extra effort spent on the game. You were also maybe fortunate his C didn't score more specifically and it looks like most of his players came in below their expected totals based on PP100, but that's not out of the ordinary either.

So in the sense that there's probably little chance you win that on equal enthusiasm, you could say you stole it, but it's more fair to say that you mortgaged your team's enthusiasm for future games to make this one a priority and it worked.

Crunch vs TIE is a huge difference.

But you got lucky playing outside box and one against Look Inside. You would have won by 25 had you played man to man. Personally, I would stay away from that defense in the future.

Thanks for your opinions guys. BTW, the offsite game simulater on zetaboards works great. It always gives me the edge in strategy.

Does performance increase of crunch is reflected in match ratings ?

No. The effect of home court advantage is displayed in the ratings, as is the effect of the enthusiasm level, but the increase for a CT or decrease for TIE is not reflected in the ratings.

Is that where it was recommended that you use outside box and one? Because that was a terrible idea.

Yeah, that's where it was recommended. It worked didn't it? So, I'm not gonna complain. I'm just glad I won.

The problem with that defense is it only really works against patient or against teams with a dominate outside scorer playing in an outside based offense. I'm guessing that he played patient sometime this season but if he switches to an inside defense, it's going to backfire quickly. And it actually did backfire because you gave up a ton of points. You just outscored him is all.

You definitely didn't win because of your tactics, you won in spite of your tactics my friend.
