Ok I know there was a thread about this in the past, but I cannot seem to find it. Anyways I just want to highlight something I noticed.

Since a couple of seasons back, player advertisements were banned from the forums. While many managers found the transfer ads in the forums to be valuable, others complained that, without proper moderation, the ads got a bit out of control and started contradicting our no-spam policy. They were a very popular feature of the forums and were missed by many since then. Because of that, we have decided to reintruduce a limited version of them. The player advertisement threads will have global rules that will have to be strictly followed. Also, they can only be opened in national forums by a BB staff member (BB, GM or MOD). National coaches can also advertise players but only at times allowed in the rules. We expect that within a couple of days all national forums will have their own threads (contact a staff member if they don't). We hope this decision will help you enjoy the forums a bit more!

This is taken from the recent news publishment, "Player advertisements are back!"

As you can see in the bold MODs are mentioned and included as a BB staff member. Funny thing is when I visit this page:
http://www.buzzerbeater.com/community/bbstaff.aspx
the names of Mod are nowhere to be found.

Something else a tad bit peculiar is that LAs who are mentioned on the BB Staff page, are not included as BB Staff in the above excerpt.

So MODs who are mentioned in the above excerpt as BB Staff, are not mentioned on the BB Staff page, yet LAs who are not mentioned in the above excerpt as staff are mentioned in full and on top of that LAs(as far as I know) get free supporter and MODs do not.

Now my suggestion is that MODs get mentioned on the BB Staff page at the very minimum, but also should receive free supporter as a reward for what they do. I mean if you are going to address them as BB Staff then at least recognize them.

I know I seem biased since I am a MOD, but im pretty sure anyone can see the connection I am making here. Who knows, maybe im over reacting(athough im not particularily mad), but I still dont see why they aren't recognized on the BB Staff page.

that is easy to explain, since LA have different right and dutys. This part shouldn't be a list of all BB Staff members, it should be the list of people who can open a thread, and take responsibility to moderate then which is getting impossible if you can not moderate the forums.

On the other hand, i don't find it necessary to give free Supporter for the Mods, atleast the forum i had as a mod was pretty relaxed and is not the same effort then LA and GM had to bring.

Thats fair, but if youre going to address as them part of your BB Staff, then they should be on the Staff page, no?

t's also true that some LA are MOD. In fact, in the hierarchy, LA are above the MOD and if you are both, you'll have the tag LA.

I understand that and that is fair.

Presence in the Staff page could be logical for the Mod. I'm not sure how many they are, but I don't think they are too much.

Theres only 3 or 4 BBs(I dont even know which ones are real). I know that analogy is stupid since they are the developers, but you can see the concept im sure.

As for the Free Supporter, not everyone is doing the same job to help the game. There is staff members who may not earn it while non-Staff (and by that I mean totally regular manager) who are doing a lot for the game. It's hard to decide who'll have it and who'll have not.

This I have no problems with.

My point was the opposite. If there is 50 Mod or more, it will took some place.

Ah, thats fair, although I didn't think there were that many.

Yes, there is a lot of GM and LA, but there is reason to contact them. Problem about the game or language. Why contact a Mod ? Problem on a forum, well you can contact a GM for that.

This too is a good point. Although if there is a problem post(swearing, spamming etc.) or you want a thread in your league forum stickied you could contact a MOD. Thats what we live for! We dont have much else to do ;)
I was thinking more along the lines of just recognizing the people with the title.

But, I have nothing against their presence in the list with the rest of the staff. I just can do a lot to change that :)

Do you mean by taking MOD away from people? :P

I don't think there is many Mod too, but I really don't know how much you are.

I have seen at least 8 :P

Correction: I just can't do a lot to change that.

That makes more sense.
