Credit goes to Chekreyes for bringing this up but i think he may have gone a bit overboard when he stated his opinion on renaming it 'The Place Where Ideas go to Die' so i thought i would make my own suggestion/question on the situation. In my opinion it does seem like not many (if any) of the suggestion Forum ideas get put into action or are given enough consideration. Now i realize they can't add everything onto the game that everyone is suggesting but a few of them are quite good ideas and i have been waiting for awhile now for them to be added to the game... I guess what i am basically asking is how exactly does the "suggestion to being added to the game" process work? I (along with others) would really appreciate knowing. Thanks in advance and i hope you don't close this thread haha

hmmm i think most of this stuff was here when i joined the game so they must have done some of these right before i joined but thank you for pointing this out. I guess It is unfair to say they aren't making changes... it just seems like such a slow process to me >.<

I agree, I went overboard, and Manon makes some good points, but all I'm asking is that a BB or else someone who has the power to influence what gets implemented could give this forum attention and say "why yes Chekreyes that is a good idea, I'll add it to my to do list" or else "Chekreyes I do not support this idea and in fact I'm going to lock it before anyone can reply" I'd settle for a simple yes/no or a tiny investigation. Not even as much as Marin does in bugs... Just a little bit of life.

Im pretty sure I read somewhere that they dont do anything like that in the suggestion forums because they dont want to influence or stop discussion.

they don't like to do that, since this impact the direction of the thread to much. If there say no, maybe a keyelement to the suggestion or different circumstances would make it a good one(and if they implement it then it becomes but you said discussion).

I don't think it is always bad, but there thesis is imho right.

the fact that no PR at all is very big problem.

Fortunately, that is not really a fact in this game. The BB's still do contribute to the forums, although it could be argued we have been witnessing an all-time low over the past few seasons. Unfortunately, the average user does not read enough messages on the forums to see many posts by the BB's (many people who look at the forums may go without seeing a single new post by a BB their whole BB existence). While I agree there should be more discussion by the BB team, the real problem is that people do not find the messages by the BB team (mostly Marin at this point). It's not their fault obviously.

It is not realistic to expect the BB's to comment on every thread. I think this is really what most people who wish them to comment expect to see -- the BB's answering directly to their own message/suggestion or at least the thread they are interested in. That will never happen. What could be implemented is some shortcut or pseudo-forum that lists all messages by BB's. I believe it would be useful (and this is something that is already manually done for the most important/interesting posts in some country forums).

I am not an 'average user' then as you say. I have read several messages from BB's written in the past and as I stated in my first post I am very appreciative of what Marin does around here. He responds to nearly every thread in the Bugs forum and has kept this place alive for the past couple of seasons. I do not expect a BB to comment on every suggestion, but a BB popping in every day or two on the popular threads around Suggestions like Marin does in bigs would be very helpful in my opinion. I simply would like another BB or else one of the current ones to talk with the user-base a little more on what is curently being worked on, what will never be part of BB, and what suggestions are plausible. If not a BB then at least give some other staff member the authority to handle PR in the suggestions forum.

I've only seen 1 BB message that was fresh in my BB career, I replied to him and he never replied back, going to the BB God Lair as I call it ;)

It was in "tanking" and it was BB Patrick. although if in a decade (in real life) I become a BB, I'd be active........although repsond to my limits, but yeah, fat chance I'll be a BB then, but a repsonse once a week is grateful (a post from other than the bugs forum) oh well, let's hope there's an announcement on tanking soon! please BBs your response in a global problem would be fantastic thanks in advance!

imho a good point, but somehow against replys at least here. If they make notes about possible upcoming changes, they should reach all and not just a small part of the users. Which means they needed to be announcement, on the new site.
