I play in third polish league and I see that a lot of teams are buying players with salary 100k+ just for playoffs.
It's killing fun from building roster for many seasons.

I think that there should be some limits. For example: players for playoffs must be bought before All-Star Game or some kind of salary cap. It will prevent managers from buying mutants just for playoffs. It's really unfair, that average team buys few players before playoffs, wins the league, and then sells them back.

I still think dropping GS by 2 for every transfer is the way to go!!! :)

i agree with the idea from the first post. If you buy a player after all star break with above average salary in your league you cant play that player in playoffs but can still play them in regular league games.

also i like that last idea. for each transfer drop GS for 2 points. or drop enthusiasm for 2 points. This is actually quite realistic. Every new guy on the team means your team needs to get in a shape playing together and also makes regular players worry about their spot on the team

one more idea is that every new player that comes to your team starts with minimum GS and can raise it's GS by 1 or 2 points per week. meaning that player needs to get in shape playing for his new team, get in rhythm with other players.

This is not always true. Some players start to perform better when they leave from the team they did not enjoy playing for.

This is not a problem. The other teams budgeted for this, nothing is stopping you from doing the same.

Of course I can tank money whole season and buy mutants for playoffs. But I think that's not fair and it's silly. That's not what creating a team should look like.
Show me real teams that are doing something like this. I know this is just a browser game, but it's stupid to play like this.

How does a tanking team get to playoffs? If he buys mutants for playoffs and get's their GS ruined, they do not play like mutants.

Maybe not so tanking, but very average team, which was at 6th place and won games in last week with mutants.

Am I only one, who thinks that buying mutants just for playoffs isn't normal?

i agree with you 100%. that should be looked into.

well, OK. some players perform brilliantly on their debut game but most of them do not. add some random factor to calculate if the recently bought player will have minimum, normal or max GS points.

adding that feature to BB is not so crucial as is limiting transfers. either completely close Transfer window after all star break or just deny players transfer after the break to play in playoffs/relegation games.
