While we already have a tournament where different countries compete...it is more focus on how great the basketball players in a given country or the national team....not how great a league team is from that country. creating a world cup where the winners or champions of a country national cup will meet and compete will add more spice to our game. now the next question is the schedule? in our country cup....we start the season competing againts league v team.....why? they are a waste of time....a league II team againts a league v? we already know what will happen....shorten the national cup where only the strongest is qualified to compete...then proceed with the world cup where the best league team not the national team compete. the tournament between national teams would still be played in a parallel tournament....just saying why not create a world cup for the best team. right now a national cup winner stop at being a national cup champion. the best team in his country with no chance to play againts other national cup champions. sure....some of his players may play in the national team but thats it.

yeah we have scrimmages, but its not the same when you compete in tournament

yeah we have private leagues, but not all national cup champion compete in it...a game player create his team, pick his players train them....and compete and so on...its a journey but it stop at being the national cup champion. a national team will only be played by one national coach at a time using players from different team. so a good game player may have a chance to be voted to play this national team with players from different team and its great, but its not his team. its not the team he created from the start....where they face and challenge other teams from their country and succeed but the journey ends at being the national cup champion. and besides a private league is not the same as the world cup.

sorry, im not familiar with buzzerbeater best as this is just my second season, from what i read it is like what i propose...i just dont know how they choose the teams that will qualify. if a team is competing in the national cup whole season just to be the national cup champion...how can he play at buzzerbeater best? or to qualify at buzzerbeater best does a team need to be the national champion last season? sorry ill read more about this....thank you for pointing out.
