Entirely depends on what you want in a trainee. 44 skill points is so-so, and his starting OD probably means he's never gonna make it as a SF. But you could definately craft a good IV starting PF out of him.

yeah idk im gonna keep him i think and try to work on his od. i know it will take awhile but i think it would be better to use him and build my arena

If you want to train, you may want to do some 1v1 Forwards, as his HA/IS is really low for a PF. 1v1 Forwards will also train a little bit of JS/DR.
