Age: 19
Height: 6'10" / 208 cm
Potential: perennial allstar

Jump Shot: respectable 7
Jump Range: respectable 7
Outside Def.: average 6
Handling: inept 4
Driving: average 6
Passing: respectable 7
Inside Shot: mediocre 5
Inside Def.: average 6
Rebounding: average 6
Shot Blocking: average 6
Stamina: inept 4
Free Throw: pitiful 2

66 skill points is pretty good, right? He's listed as a Shooting Guard, but at 6'10", that doesn't sound like a good idea. I'm thinking he can make a good blanced ( or inside inclined?) Small Forward.

What do the pros think?

Put him at C (Just for faster training) and train IS ID or rebounding.

Most likely a well balanced PF. He is very tall so training his OD can be pain in the ass.

I agree with JohnnyB. Make him into a balanced PF and probably try and knock out his OD training now. Get it to Proficient (9) or Prominent (10) and then work on whatever else you'd like this season.

If you do ever plan on selling the guy then the work on his OD now will really pay off.

So I should start with training pressure at PG, then move on with his inside abilities at C?

You should try to finish off his guard skills this year or else he'll never pop in his guard skills. He's got the height to pop in all his inside skills easily. So you should either start him off with Pressure PG to get that OD up and then work his DRV. Which you can work with 1 on 1 for Forwards while also getting some IS, HA and JS pops.

Of course, you can use the site that works wonders for me. The site is called Buzzer Manager. Here's the link - http://www.buzzer-manager.com/

Just make sure you have a access key created on this site so you can use it. You can create your key in your Preferences located in the left menu bar at anytime.

Thanks, another question: The effect of pops on the player's salary, is it calculated according to his position the week he gets the pop, according to his position at the end of the season when he got the pop (when salaries are calculated in general), or is it always adjusted to the position he ends up at?

Also, is there a list somewhere about stat costs per position?
