Hi guys, I was wondering about the correlation between OD and trainer's age, I know that OD is the first skill to train when you have a 18-19 yo guard because is the toughest skill to pop up after the 20's, however since I'm seeking for a player with at least red skills in IS and ID to train as a play maker along side mine already in my roster, as to make him a great-unselfish SF( if he has shooting even a PF ) for seasons to come.
But most of them have exceeded the 20's stage or if they are below they cost a lot, therefore the concern is how old a trainer must have to make OD and PASS training not to slow to pop up ?

I also forgot to tell the maximum height recommended for training OD and PASS (perhaps even JS)? I' ve been thinking on 6'8'' (2.03cm)- 6'9'' (2.06 cm) is that makes sense ?

This is quite a false assumption. Back in the old days it was believed that OD is the toughest skill to pop up after the 20's, but one of my countrymen managed to pull off one pop every 3 weeks at 16 and above OD on his PG at age 27 with an exceptional trainer. That's not much different from a 18 year old (maybe 4 or 5 pops less after 1 season). You can also check the crowd sourcing training project. If I'm not wrong, it also shows that there isn't much decrement in OD training against age.

what i can tell about training from my practice is that i managed to get 8 pops in passing per season in 6.8 height 18yo guy with llv 5 trainer. Also managed to get 5 js pops to 6.10 guy who also was 18 years old, so height doesnt really matter, age defitenely does, since the time i was training passing my small men got 6 and 7 passing skills respectively at ages 20 and 21:D and at aes 21 and 22 they got 5 js pops each per season too.:D
