Hi, I am a new manager to this game and I had a couple of concerns. This is my first time starting a new season so I am unsure of how everything works, but I got upgraded to league III from league IV and it seems I now have a player salary floor which is about 77.7k. My TV contract revenue is 59k, I read that player salary floor was 100% of TV contract revenue and was wondering if this is going to update before the next economic update (Monday).

I also read in the game manual that new players don't have salary floors their first 16 weeks, this is probably my 4th week, so will the player salary floor get reduced automatically in the economic update or do I have to contact a GM of some sort about this issue? If I need to contact anyone, please tell me who!

Many thanks from a new manager, and sorry for the block of text

The TV contract will update on next week's economic update. If it says the player salary floor is 77.7k, for division III, that will be what your new TV contract is.

But he will not have an effective salary floor. That's the point.

I've also had a similar problem. You (jeff) should check your economy page on Monday after the financial update. If your salaries are in total lower than the salary floor, then by all means you should not see the amount of the floor deducted from your account. As you said, new teams don't have to pay a minimum total salary for the whole team for the first 16 weeks.

He was asking about the fact that the TV contract and the floor amount were not the same despite the rules saying that they should be. I was pointing out that the TV contract will be updated with the upcoming economic update - the question about whether the floor would apply to this user is of course also interesting information but not really what was being asked about.
