if you want him to be defensive, its a good start because of 7 OD. however, that rating in HA, PA and DR is just very very low a a backcourt player. i suggest training those 3 skill first because they will pop faster, to maybe up to 7 each and then train OD. in that case, OD will pop faster since the player will have a more balanced skills.

153k is okay, and i think it is a very good buy for you. an 18y/o MVP is always a good buy if you get it under 200k. do you have a lvl 4 trainer though?

What exactly does 1on 1 train and what are the secondary training skills for Passing?

1on1 trains primarily driving. If you're training 1on1 for guards, you train driving, handling and jumpshot. If you train 1on1 for forwards then you train even more driving and handling, slightly less jumpshot but you also train inside scoring. That's why most people prefer 1on1 for forwards.

Secondary skills for passing are handling and driving.
