Hi,

I´m not sure if this a bug or something that someone can explain, but I still ask this: http://www.buzzerbeater.com/team/172727/arena.aspx You can see that I´m having excactly the same amount of specterors in every single game (7 games in the row). NO arena is not full. It looks like there is some kind of limit in specs that i´m hitting all the time?

Can someone please explain how there can be this kind of limitation or what it this about? I would think there should be some kind movement in the numebers. Feel stupid that no matter how well team is doing no change is numbers.

Feel free to ask more info if needed.

I will wait some info from some one

Aside from the debate on how how to build your arena, it's true that there seems to be a attendance that is unrealistically stable.

I believe there is a soft cap around 20 000 seats. That doesn't mean its effect cannot be felt before reaching 20 000 though.

In fact, the attendance cap works much like an audio compressor. We don't know the ratio (we just know it's finite), or whether it has a knee (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dynamic_range_compression#So...), although we know the threshold is around 20 000.
BUT, if there is indeed a knee, then even with a threshold at exactly 20 000, we could see a capping effect around 19 500, although that effect should be minimal (as in, soft, capping harder the more seats you sell), and would not entirely explain why you kept selling exactly 19 500 seats for 8 straight games despite having extra seats available.

My feeling, just by looking at your arena, is that there is a a specific cap for bleacher seats, perhaps 4 independent caps for each seat category.

Not sure if I understand exactly what you're saying:

You mean, there is a bleacher soft cap of 70% of total seats and a lower tier soft cap of 20% (for example), plus a global soft cap around 20000 seats?

That would mean in some situations that one could increase the number of lower tier he sells by constructing bleacher seats.
I don't know, why not.

I dont should I build more expensive seat or not. Some how I get feeling that if I do build more the expensive ones. I wont get any more money in total. Probaply first I will try raising ticket prices and see how that effects to the total earnings.

I Just cant understand how there is something called soft cap and hard cap in seats?... If you think in real life the cap would be based on size of city and/or team´s suckes. Sure I do understand that there needs to be some limits, but how in the he*** it can be so strickt. Even that there is cap´s there should be some up and downs in 19500..
