I have an 18YO with superstar potential. 6'9", a natural power forward. Here are his attributes.

Jump Shot: 6
Jump Range: 4
Outside Defense: 6
Handling: 7
Driving: 3
Passing: 1
Inside Shot: 6
Inside Defense: 6
Rebounding: 6
Shot Blocking: 6
Stamina: 6
Free Throws: 2

The jump shot, outside defense, and handling are encouraging, but the driving and passing are concerns. How much (if at all) should I try to train those? At Div 4, how high should those be (minimum)? I figure that he could play anywhere from small forward to center, depending on how he develops.

I'd train a little passing in his first season, up to mediocre or so. This will also improve his driving. Later on, you will want to train Jump Shot or Driving for Forwards, which will help with the driving too. But that can wait for the beginning. If you can, train Passing and OD this season, fist Passing to mediocre-respectable, then OD if you still have the time to do so. Then spend the second and third season pounding his inside skills. Once those are where you want to have them, switch to JS or 1on1 training.

Also, congratulations for a nice trainee. Having only one real hole, and in a relatively easily trainable secondary skill to boot, with nice potential - definitely a keeper.

I would train his outside skills the whole season if possible and then make him a PF later on. IMO "At Div 4, how high should those be (minimum)?" is the wrong way to look at it, these skills should be as high as possible. Something like OD 7 DR 5 PA 6 would be a good goal for this season. In fact I would like outside training to continue in the second season as well but that is probably too future oriented for many people.

If your goal is to increase his value if you decide to sell him, probably just getting PA to 3-5 and then working on his inside skills is the way to go.
