I will be running for the NT Coach position here in the USA.

My campaign will center on three key platforms:

#1 My experience in managing my club team at the highest level of the USA league, including the economic and personnel development of the team, is pretty much nearly unrivaled in the USA. I have been able to defeat teams with better personnel by the use of extensive scouting and tactical deployment, which will be very important at the NT level where the top teams will have similar strength in the personnel department.

#2 To have the strongest team possible, training is key. To this end, as NT Coach, I would be disseminating information and advice about optimal training strategies to anyone in the USA that wished to receive such information. Any team in the USA can develop NT level players, and having the best training strategy will not only make the USA NT very powerful but will also improve the quality of play in the USA league as a whole. The stronger we are as a league, the more fun and challenging the game is, and the better we will be represented on the world stage.

#3 Teamwork. As NT Coach, I would certainly be inviting any ideas, suggestions, and advice from the USA community. This is our team, and although the final decision rests with me, I cannot be so arrogant to believe that one mind is better than a thousand minds pulling in the same direction. The old saying "united we stand, divided we fall" has never been more appropriate.

I really do believe I am the best candidate for the position as NT Coach, and I hope that you feel the same way.

Please ask any questions you'd like to see answered in the Debate thread, as I look forward to hearing your thoughts and concerns!

I am also running for NT coach. Below I'll outline some of my thoughts for the team as well as why I think I'm qualified.

My credentials

I'm a fast learner. I've been playing BB just over two months, starting about 10 games into last season. At that point, I was in 6th place, and my goal was to sneak into the playoffs with 4th place. At first, I didn't know what I was doing, and slipped to 7th place, but as I started to figure out BB, the wins started coming. I went 10-1 down the stretch to end up as the 3 seed in the playoffs, surpassing my goal of 4th.

I would throw myself wholeheartedly into the NT job just as I did with my own team, and I believe that my dedication and abilities as a fast learner would pay dividends for the team.

My plan for the roster

I believe the two keys for the NT roster will be balance and flexibility.

By balance, I mean in terms of player skills. I would look for players who are well-rounded in the relevant skills for their position, not single-skilled monsters like another online game promotes *cough* Hattrick *cough*. For instance, I'd rather have a Guard who is Strong in Jump Shot, Jump Range, Outside Defense, and Passing than a Guard who is a Prolific jump shooter with little else. Well-rounded players also train faster, which will help us have the very best players that we can.

By flexibility, I speak in terms of individual players. While I want to have well-rounded starters and bench players, I do think there will be a need team for a few specialists, such as a defensive stopper or a terrific shooter, so that we will be able to take advantage of weaknesses in other teams. Scouting opponent's players and looking at matchups will be key to our success, and I think these specialists, while not our bread and butter, certainly have their place.

Community involvement

Obviously this is not a one man show. If elected, I'll welcome any and all help I can get from the community in terms of scouting for players, scouting opponents, discussing tactics, etc. I want as many peopel to be involved in this process as possible. BuzzerBeater is so young that no one manager can know everything, so it'll take the involvement of this entire community to really make the team a success.

Thanks for reading all this. I'll be happy to field any and all questions in the debate thread.

I will be running for USA NT.

My speech will be short and sweet.

Ive been playing BB since before regular season of season 1. In my 2 seasons ive been experimenting with all types of strategy, attitudes and form and have noticed alot of little things in my time.

I think my early accomplishments speak for themselves.
Winner of NBBA Season 1 and Runner Up in Cup Season 2

My goals for the team is to assemble a strong roster of players mainly a bunch of high tempo players with a PG with a good shot handling, passing and driving abilities with a few outside shooters to deliver to. The backline I want a strong core of defenders that can also hold their own on the offense of end. I want to find the best multiskilled players this country has to offer

I have a strong core of friends in BB such as nraider, vikman, cliff that will help me out and have been part of my success since day one. would also like to get input from such great trainers like JuicePats, stogey and other top trainers in USA
