I still think it should be based solely off of DMI (salary and game shape) because this will make sure that the All-star game is actually full of All-Stars. I do like you idea of a blank lineup though, I personally would like it a lot better.

I am talking about DMI for specific positions, not the top 10 or 12 guys with the highest DMI.
