Just wondering if anyone has had worse luck than I have this season with injuries... I focused my roster on promoting this season but thanks to the eight lasting injuries and one or two in-game injuries I may not be able to compete. Can anyone beat eight long term injuries to key players in one season?

That is very bad luck. Maybe your doctor went on vacation without telling you or you hired a doctor that cheated his way through school. 8 injuries, i am pissed if i have 2 in a season.

at least it isn't playoff time yet. I hate when guys have injuries in playoffs, it sucks.

I didn't want to say anything, but when you posted your "lookit my ratings in III" thread, clearly BB decided that the only way to get you to conform to a more level-appropriate ratings set is to do so by force. The moral here is that in BB, much like life, if you set your target low enough you'll never undershoot it!

And more seriously, yes, I'm not yet certain which variety of livestock balls that it sucks, but it definitely does suck them.

even with a L6 or 7 doctor for the last 4+ seasons, ive come to expect a few post game injuries (even long term 3 or 4 week) and a handful of in game injuries as well.

they're unavoidable, prob increased by how many fouls you draw. typically my best players are the ones affected.

they're random, they seem to come in bunches and usually is followed by days of wondering why ive invested anytime in this game.

I haven't had quite as many players injured, but Herbert Jones has had horrible luck with injuries. Since the end of his 20yo season, he has been injured for 13 weeks (2-week injury then, 3-week injury which fortunately was healed during the offseason, 2 week injury when he was 21, 4 week injury at the beginning of this season + 2 week injury this season). That's almost a full season, and it really sucks because those injuries caused him to miss valuable weeks of pressure training.

Your dedication to patience is startling. I would have sold him.

Haha. Well, he has 98 skill points and costs only $27k salary, so he's very cost-efficient, the more so for being home grown. And 9+ OD and 11+ passing on a power forward is expensive to buy. Also, he was the first player I drafted. So there are sentimental reasons for hanging on to him as well.

I understand. Very cost efficient. But if the injuries continue, he's not very cost efficient on the bench is he?

I have a favorite pair of shoes that are almost a decade old. The soles are worn and they have a few holes. But just because there are sentimental reasons for keeping them doesn't mean I should wear them outside in the snow ;)

I mean, if I actually thought he was more injury-prone than other players then I'd probably have to reconsider. But as far as I know there's no hidden "injury-prone" trait in Buzzerbeater, is there? I just assumed it was extraordinarily bad luck for one player, but that happens from time to time.
