But at the NT level, he may not be able to hit as many jumpshots as you might think. Take a look at Joe Bronson, who played on the NT for several seasons. (Actually, I can't link him, as he is currently on the TL.) But he has a JS/JR ratio of 20/14, along with 19 DR and 16 PA. Note that he also has only 2 IS.
Apart from the IS, his skills should be good for international competition, right? Well, he was a constant chucker when it came to shooting, and whenever we played quality opponents, he often missed too many shots. Of course, that could just be what someone once described to me as his player personality, and your guy could have similar skills and be a good jump shooter for your NT. But history is not on his side. As long as OD is king, it will be very difficult for him to be a true SG that can regularly knock down jumpers.
If you really want high JS/JR, I recommend having his offensive skill set something like this example:
JS at 16
DR equals JS minus 1
PA equals JS minus 2
HA equals JS minus 2
IS equals JS minus 3
This should give him more offensive capacity, instead of him just being a 3-point shooter that can defend and pass a little.
