No N/S America, Europe, Asia, or Africa. Can we make a starting five?

Asia/Oceania is heavy on centers (Yao, Bogut, Longley, Antsey, Haddadi, Adams) and PGs (Mills, Yue) but it's hard (er, impossible) to fill the other positions...

C- Yao Ming
PF- Yi Jianlian
SF- Andrew Gaze
SG- Patty Mills
PG- Sun Yue

bn- Andrew Bogut
bn- Luc Longley
bn- Nathan Jawai
bn- Aron Baynes
bn- Yuta Tabuse

if we allow Asian-Americans (Jeremy Lin, Rex Walters) it hardly helps :/ Asian-born Americans (Tom Meschery, Kyrie Irving, Joe Alexander) make it interesting...

1. *Anstey...
2. Andrew Gaze at SG. Significantly better at the 2 than Mills.
3. Shane Heal starting at PG. Significantly better at the point than Sun Yue.

Ricky Grace was probably a better guard than any of the guards currently named. Mark Bradtke was as good as any forward named, and at his peak (which wasn't the year in the NBA) clearly better than Jawai/Baynes.
Sean Marks probably deserves a berth too.

You've also got Scott Fisher and Andrew vlahov as bigs they were dominant in there prime.. Especially fisher considering he didn't start playing basketball till he was 18 there are also a number of other players I'd name of the people you've listed. Ricky grace would have to start at the pg spot you'd think remember I'm pretty sure he became an Australian citizen which kinda qualify him.

Might come back and edit this when I've had a thought and lost my top 12 Australian, NZ side as I don't follow Asian ball only Asian on that list I know is Yao Ming and the PF...

Oh just thought kirk penny of NZ would be a good back up to gaze at the sg

Except... neither Vlahov nor Fisher played in the NBA, did they? If they did... I was unaware of that.

Is Bogut Australian? Not from the Americas?

He was naming a team made up of North American and South American players but excluding players from the USA.
