I've been blessed to draft to 6'8" guys with different starting skill sets. One is setup more as a point guard the other is a power forward. I'd like to continue training them in the same skills. The guard is an all-star potential and the power forward is perennial allstar. I also have a 7'2" center as my third main trainee. In this year's draft I am also projected to pick up a 6'1" 18 A+ SG with average potential.

Here are their skills:

18 6'8" PG 6 7 7 8 6 7 4 5 7 5

19 6'8" PF 7 7 6 3 5 6 9 8 6 6

19 7'2" C 3 5 7 2 7 3 6 7 8 6

What would be ideal to train? I am thinking if I get a good guard next season to just train rebounding and inside defense for the remainder of the season.

Also if I were to keep both players, how would I want them to look? What should they look like by the age of 25? Is the center worth training guard skills on as well? To me the center is just a tag-along but I think he is trainable and has decent skills overall.

Check out the Training Simulator: (229484.1). It will give you some idea of what's possible.

I would suggest you do pressure (PG) to get your 6'8" guys until your 18yo hits 10-11 OD, do a little 1v1F until your 19yo hits 6-7 HA, and then go whole hog into inside skills. You'll end up with a great LI SF and PF. And your C will be effective, too.

The height of the guard you want to draft is incompatible with the other guys you're training. I would say either sell him right away for a good sum, or work him into the Pressure (in place of the 19yo C) and 1v1F training to round him out into a PG/combo and then sell him.
