So I'm gearing up my team to be a potential dark horse for my league's playoffs by TIE for every single game in the two weeks leading into the playoffs to build up enthusiasm. Now if both me and my opponent both go with Playoff Crunch Time for the opening playoff game, does the gap between our enthusiasms make a difference? Like say my enthusiasm is at 10 and his is at 6, will that make it a closer game (or even a potential stunning win for me)?
Obviously still need to choose relevant O/D tactics to maximize my chances but do the enthusiasm values for each team matter beyond whether we choose Playoff Crunch or Playoff Normal?

Enthusiasm can make a big difference at any time of the season. Playoffs are no different.

Enthusiasm makes a HUGE difference because it determines how well your team will play. Effort can also lead to loses if your opponent is even decently close in skills and CT's you. Example here in my game tonight: I am clearly the better team but lost at home because of the different efforts put in (His CT vs my TIE).

How many fouls do you usually commit? Though ct obviously why he won... He may have exploited a team weakness of yours defending motion?

No I think my proficient outside D was fine
that wasn't the problem. It is so obvious that I would have crushed him if he played normal or even if I played normal vs his CT. And how many fouls do I normally commit? I dunno. What I do know is I've never been in that much foul trouble ever before. My starting SF PF and C fouled out as well as my backup C having 5 fouls.

That's why I thought maybe the motion caused the foul problem

Checks your season stats. That should give you an accurate indication.
