I use a similar philosophy as well. The only time I Normaled games in D4 was when it was a TV or rivalry game, or regular season/playoff game that was iffy.

That reminds me of last season, when I TIE'd most, if not all my games that season. I was CT'd 2 or 3 times during the regular season, and handily won both. It goes to show you how much ENTH really matters.

Edit: Your team is doing well, and with a quick look at the standings, it looks like you could contend for the title. Good luck in the playoffs!

i always try to take it easy all the games untill i drop out of the cup, then normal some games against conference leaders to quarantee 1st seed in playoffs and home court advantage. then tie last 4-5 games no matter what to save ent for playoffs.

By the way, always try to promote. even if u wont survive in d3 you will earn nice cash here+ a decent draft pick and youll gain more experience as competition is way stronger, youll see loophioles in the team. its better to promote and then demote than not to promote on purpose. i was promoted to div3 and demoted, and i am looking forward to promote this season and proly demote again lol.

Not sure if I want to win the playoffs because if I do I will get crushed in D III

Maybe you will. Maybe you won't. Heaven knows I expected to get drubbed when I promoted to IV and when I promoted to III and somehow BB hasn't figured out yet that my team's not that good. ;) But I'd never recommend deliberately avoiding promotion - you don't need to sell out everything in order to bring in rentals to promote, but if your current roster is good enough to compete for promotion then you owe it to yourself to see if you can make it up.
