I was wondering what the effect would be if you would spread rebounding skills on your roster, for example instead of having 17 RB on your bigs and 7 on your guards you'll have all players with 12 RB.

Will it be less effective? I figure your bigs will lose more rebounds to the other bigs, but your guards will provide extra rebounds. Does that make up for it? It would probably influence the putback ability of the bigs too, but on the other hand you'll have guards that will fly in for the offensive rebound more often.

Does anyone know the impact and severity of this?

Salary is not an issue for what I'm trying to find out, so please disregard it.

I understand that it works that way in regular basketball, but so far I've seen guards fly in for rebounds pretty often when I watch BB games. Isn't there a chance that they'll position themselves for rebounds more often?

At what rate do you think it stays even? 1 RB of your big for 2 RB of your guard? More/less?

On my phone at work I apologize, check my teams last game the fcp defense one. C and pf have 11-13 rebounding sf had 20+ pg had 6 and sg 4. Backup sg had 6 backup sf 2

My guy who was backing up sg normally gets 6+ a game 1 on offense at guard with 6 reb.
