We have been discussing this in the Swedish community and we are quite many that thinks that there should be a punishment in terms of team spirit for new players. Currently many teams buys and sells players frequently and especially in late rounds of the cup and in preparation for the playoff are many teams drastically improving their squad strength. This is simple currently because besides an economical loss from selling players (both in terms of gates and "agent" fees) is the punishments non-existing.
I think that there should be a punishment in playing capacity. An illustration of this would be that a new player with proficient game shape would perform similarly as if he had average game shape. If you had such punishment you really would not bring in a new player for just one game and it would not be too interesting either to bring in player just before playoff.
I think that the player should play to the full of his capacity after 6-8 weeks. I also think that players that are brought in before first game of the season should have no punishment. It is reasonable to consider that they joined during off season and are now well aware of how their team plays.
Poll:
Do we need "team spirit" in Buzzerbeater?

12 votes and 10 in favor of introducing team spirit and only one against it. Not much of activity in this thread but still some votes. Thanks for those who have raised their opinion.

GS is a good idea, and a realistic one.
Player gets traded, has to move, misses his teammates, etc. Hectic week.
If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.
