well well well,
i wasn't expecting it, but the election is already over. Only one person left in the election :D thx in advance for your votes.
The schedule is out and it's a horrible one. Germany, Portugal and Turkey are all top nations. Add the subtop likes of Croatia and Bosnia i Herzegovina and we've got 5 very though opponents. I'm pretty sure that Sweden will want to avoid the 7th place, so they'll exploit any chance they see with a CT. And Malta will likely do the same. The outcome in this qualification group will depend on how the GS is, the tactical decisions AND the management of Enthusiasm.
Belgium could end anywhere from 3rd to 6th (i fear the 2nd place is out of our grasp. for us to finish Second, we're going to need a huge amount of luck. Our Calender isn't favorable for us to achieve that second spot either...) Never the less, i'll do my best to end as high as possible.
We'll be starting off facing all though teams. first game will be against Portugal, which is a no win game because Portugal got HCA. Second game is against the Germans, followed by croatia and Bosnia I Herzegovina. Once we've faced those 4 teams, we'll know if we are still got a long shot at qualification or if it's all over. After that, we face Malta and Sweden, which should technically speaking be easier games (tho i don't see how we could consider sweden easy) and then we finish things off with Turkey.
I'm hoping for a Friendly game against our U21 this week still, but i fear our U21 coach forgot to accept it... i'm praying it's not to late to accept it, otherwise i'm very sorry for the fact that no scrimmage will be held. The U21 vs NT game will futur the current U21 squad vs a mix of 22-24 y old players with some 20y old player, with the intension of motivating the managers to keep training their players.
regards
