Having a really hard time understanding salary floor. Can someone please give me detailed and thorough explanation. I also accept it being "dumb-downed" for me :)

Whatever your salary floor is, you must pay at least that.
So, if you have no players on your roster and your salary floor is $200,000
then you will be charged $200,000 in salaries even though you have none
If you're not at the salary floor go buy a player or players that get you there

As long as your team's salary is above the salary floor, it is irrelevant.

If the total combined salary of all your players is less than the salary floor for your league, you will pay the salary floor instead of the actual salaries of your players.

For example, if the combined salaries of your players is $34,000, and the salary floor is $25,000, the salary floor doesn't effect you at all. However with those same salaries, if the salary floor is $50,000, you will pay $50,000 in salary each week rather than the $34,000 your players earn.

In addition to the posts above, which detail the situation quite well, your team won't be subject to the salary floor until you've had the team for 16 weeks (or one full season). Since it appears you got the team after the all-star break last season, you're still not going to have any repercussions from the floor until that time this season.

Thanks guys, +1 for that! I also wanted to know how I could advertise players and make them come up on other managers "Current Transfers" page in "Manage My Team".

P.S. How does the TV contract work?

Allright,
TV contract is all about the strength in your division,if there are teams with pretty high salary, then contract will rise.
*In V contract is not that high ,when you move up in the divisions ,you will receive a better TV- contract.
If your div. has low salary the contract is a bit lower, last season I received 120k,this season 127.
The first question,I can't help you there ,because I don't have an answer for that 1:)

*I think that's something nobody can't control,it's random I think,not sure

I think his original point was you said you were +1ing the original people who helped you out, but none of those posts received a +1. (Personally, I don't care. Forum balls are pretty pointless, imo.)

As for the question about creating a player ad, go to the "Community" page. "New Ad" will be the last option on the dropdown box at the top of the page.
