Hi guys,
I know that some things have already been done to make day trading less profitable, but you know it's far from enough when you see things like that: (http://www.buzzerbeater.com/team/69416/transferhistory.as...)

Even if I didn't experience it, I guess there's a minimum level of sale price % that you still receive even though you sell a ton of players. It's safe to say that it's not low enough: bring it to 1% of the sale price! It would calm those day traders down for sure!

Thanks!

9 players in 9 months is hardly active day-trading.

Maybe starting the taxes higher to see them coming to 97% after a longer period.

How do you get to 9 players in 9 months?
He bought 14 rookie players on the 7th of march and then sold half of them before the end of the month, the other half is still on his team but he's trying hard to sell them.

There is a pack of teams using this strategy...It's silly petty and cookie cutter, but not necessarily against the rules.

I didn't say it's against the rules, I say it should ;)

I think he is referring to the fact that the team is using same method as all other succesfull Chinese teams: Buy 18y olds with high potential (8+) right after the draft for cheap, when number of "very good, but not great" 18y olds is the greatest, thus driving the price down (supply & demand rule). Train them in various skills so they become attractive to other managers and throw them on TL a season later. Actually in some cases, those trainees get back on TL after only 4-5 weeks of good training.

Then they use this profit to finance their own team and to buy new 18y olds.

I may try this strategy once I finish with my two trainees. If you can't beat them, join them...

Well I noticed this trend with Chinese teams only, the leader being:

I added him to my buddies few seasons ago to see when is he buying players, how often is he selling them etc...And with 32M profit, I guess he is going for a record attendance in his arena. I know I'd be doing far more competitive things with 32M, but to each his own.
