The reason they have the ASG is to allow teams in large countries to have a week with two Cup games so they're never required to play four competitive games in a week. Of course as it is currently comprised, there is the possibility for an additional Cup game the Thursday after the first game of the Finals, but whether they want to extend the Cup that deep into the playoffs is another story, and that's without even running through a revised schedule to see if bumping that league game up a spot ends up throwing off playoff schedules.

But the scheduling and financial impacts is something I completely understand. For the fourth season in a row, I'm going to have a three game road trip between my final two conference games and the first game of interconference.

Oh how I hate to use the words REALISM and BUZZERBEATER in the same sentence but here I go.

Teams in all major sports go on Roadtrips. example....the Texas Triangle....is when teams play Dallas,Houston, and then the Spurs all on the road. Teams out East go on 5-8 game road trips out West all the time.
I think the makers of the game like the RANDOM FACTOR.
I don't mind the crazy schedules we get but it does drive me crazy....like last year. I had to sell off a player a week before the Cup Final to get out of bankruptcy because I didn't have a homegame for 10 days.
