I was reviewing a game when one of my trainees was subbed in the last minute. I wanted him to get full 48 minutes so I set everything to keep him in (Strictly follow depth chart and stay on foul trouble). He was inept stamina. He was subbed out in the last minute for no reason: he was not fouled out.

I don't know if this is how tired players get off the court but it sure was frustrating to see him not get that last minute. Can anything add on to this?

it happened to me this past training week. so i went to rebounding for training instead of IS since he had PF minutes to add to 47 minutes of C. I recommend you train Reb or 1on1 this week then so next game you can put him at back up and complete his minutes and another trainee get 48 minutes at another position. it may have been game over he is tired take him out but next time have him at starter back up and reserve and anybody who you dont have in the line up should be switched to the other side at the top. cuz if you have one guy and he isnt put into the rotation he could be subbed in at any random position.

It's frustrating to no end, and if it makes you feel any better, there are usually 5 threads a week from managers having the same problem as you. I suspect you did everything right with the tactics setup, but it's just one of the frustrating hiccups in the game that does this. The only foolproof way to guarantee your trainee gets 48 minutes is to only put 5 guys in the lineup and hope he doesn't foul out.

If you dress more than five players, there's no guarantee this won't happen unfortunately. You did what you could and honestly, 47 minutes is close enough that I wouldn't switch training just for that.

The best thing to do is to put him as backup in the other games you play. He should get a few minutes playing time.

This week, as Hrudey says, 47 minutes is close enough to 48 that you don't have to worry. I've forgotten the numbers but it's over 90% of the full training.

With all the things that can go wrong, I don't know how people train NT monsters.

I like the simple answer LOL

35 seconds in and hurt... that sucks
