The round of 128 is the Tuesday round. Here are the numbers for the first ASW round's games.

11 – NBBA teams still alive (68.8% of NBBA teams, 8.6% of all remaining cup teams)
28 – D.II teams still alive (43.8% of D.II teams, 21.9% of all remaining cup teams)
43 – D.III teams still alive (16.8% of D.III teams, 33.6% of all remaining cup teams)
40 – D.IV teams still alive (3.9% of D.IV teams, 31.3% of all remaining cup teams)
6 – D.V teams still alive (0.1% of D.V teams, 4.7% of all remaining cup teams)
8064 – teams already eliminated from the cup
21 – same-division match-ups this round (NBBA-0; D.II-5; D.III-9; D.IV-7; D.V-0)
7 – wins needed to claim the tournament championship
1 – wins before the prize starts increasing
285 – average country rank (CR) of teams still in the cup
170 – median CR of teams still in the cup
25 – top 50 CR teams still in the cup
54 – top 128 CR teams still in the cup
1477 – CR of the lowest ranked team still in the cup, Montana Iceholes (22872)
3 – CR of the highest ranked team already knocked out of the tournament, Bullish Mentality (28510) (ousted in the third round by Philadelphia Fish (29575))
8 – CR of the highest ranking D.II team remaining, Bruins (23229)
75 – CR of the highest ranking D.III team remaining, Chanute Sharpshooters (22826)
226 – CR of the highest ranked active D.IV team remaining, DC Dribble Penetrators (23542) (#209 Stormz (30399) recently went bot)
947 – CR of the highest ranking D.V team remaining, The Huskies (23588)
1446 – CR differential in the most lopsided match-up (by CR): #31 World Idea Toys (30833) @ #1477 Montana Iceholes (22872)
4 – CR differential in the tightest match-up (by CR): #24 Lake Merritt Arrows (23075) @ #28 Super T-REX (28714)

For reference, last season's post: (240727.1). More D.IV-D.V teams, fewer NBBA-D.II teams still alive. And you can tell we've had a lot more high-ranking teams go down this season with the median CR at 170 compared to 124 last season.

Looking at some of the matchups:
LMA vs Super T-Rex looks interesting as LMA is tanking out of the NBBA so they would seemingly want to try to win. However they are playing away.
Funky Town Fire vs Delta 9 is another powerhouse matchup 2 vs 13 and 2 is away.
Looking at the matchups there are only 15 matchups where a Div V/IV play against a Div II or better. With that in mind, there is probably going to be around 15 IV/V teams left for the round of 64.
The Fundamentalists look to have the best shot of any Div 5 team to make the next round as they are playing a beatable Div IV squad at home.

Overall there might be 5 teams from Div IV/V that sneak into the final 32. I'm hoping with a lucky draw that I am one of them

Another nice job here simon. I'm kind of rooting for Montana Iceholes to pull an upset. He started out in my league last year and had to demote. Go caddyman406!

That would be pretty cool. Most of the teams that come out of IV.41 wouldn't be Iceholes, but are really only one vowel change away.

There ended up being quite a few upsets.

Bananahorns a Div 3 squad beat the Bloody Eagles! A div 1 team.
My prediction of the Fundamentalists making it as the only Div 5 team in the final 64 came true.
Stormz a Div 4 team destroyed the Wildcats a Div 3 team while playing TIE.
Bellyachers a Div 4 squad beat a Div III squad as well as Miu U, and Dirty Dogs
Big Head Todd and Two Os Goose put all their effort into winning a close games against Div III squads
Frogmonsters won a close game against a Div 2 squad.

So 9 clear upsets this round...pretty high number considering we are down to 64 teams.

I was spot on with my prediction...there are fifteen Div 4/5 teams left.
