To me the benefit of training players is either

A) Have them play for your country or their home courty's NT

B) Have a solid player that would be very expensive on the market

C) Have a player that can last 10+ seasons INSTEAD of having a veteran that lasts only 3-5 seasons.

If trained right you can see impact from your rookies at 21 years old or even 20 with the right skillset. It may take awhile to train but to me its worth it in the end

Example: Sol Scarbrough. I bought him for only 11k and now is starting to make some major impact on my team, and he is only getting better. I'd like him to be a SF/PF type player, and he's now almost only a season away from achieving my goal. Yea it may be a pain to train him for 4-5 seasons but thats what I chose. I chose to have him train that long. I chose to keep with my guts and train him. Now it'sstarting to pay off.

I'm sure there are better examples then this but thats mine.

With this sort of logic, in 10 seasons, there will be no good veterans who were trained to buy. Someone has to train them.

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

You have to look at it like this ... You have numerous options all based on what your goal is for your team. Here are some ..

If you want to promote:

You can use the money from that trainer and buy some veterans and promote

Or

You could Train a player for some seasons and make him into whatever of your need or preference and promote

If your just playing around with the GE:

You could train players out of position and figure things out about the elastic effect

Or

Build a player for your NT

Or

You could flip players ( Buy a 18 year old with 7+ potential for 50k .... 4-6 seasons later you can sell him for a 500k )]

In the end it just depends on what your ultimate goal is for your team . Btw there is no FINANCIAL benefit for training players , well atleast not one you will notice.

Love. I just want to find a 5/5 draftee and watch him grow into the centerpiece of my franchise and my NT. I will give him minutes every week and we will watch sunsets together.

5 reasons why buzzerbeater trainees are better than girlfriends:

1. Girls dump you. A trainee will always be there when you get home.
2. If your trainee is bad at something, you can train him. If your girl is bad at something, you better don't mention it, and just "accept her for who she is".
3. It's not easy to have multiple girlfriends. You can have 3 trainees, and sometimes even 6.
4. Your trainee doesn't get upset if you check the transfer list for other trainees.
5. A girl wants shoes, clothes, makeup, magazines, more shoes and a tiny handbag. A trainee just wants 48 minutes.

Lies. If they just wanted 48 minutes they wouldn't foul out. They just in it for the money
