Move on. He resents being sold and any relationship you had is over. When he left the club he burnt his jersey in anger.

This is probably the saddest thread in BB forum history... :(

When I first started this game, I got an 18y MVP with the starting team (29246830). I nurtured him carefully, gave him minutes and all. Then at the begging of my first full season, I found him a perfect buddy trainee (27960973). He had almost identical skills, and height/age/potential, my nationality too. They thrived together, they were best friends, and also rivals, challenging each other to always improve. They were the future of our team, and the NT as well.

But alas, the season never got to an end. Just before the finals, David Stern, the old evil BB commissioner, banned my team, and they lost valuable 6-7 weeks of training, and eventually got to the transfer list. They were bought by different teams, and the big project was ended. Looks like the new owners are training them, and they still play together in Montenegro U21, but it will never be the same.. :(

I had a player who I bought as a well trained 20yo. After 9 seasons with my team I was contacted by his original owner who was interested in buying him back (further trained). I agreed and he won the bid and went back to his original team for 2 seasons.
It's not unheard of. :P

I had a stud PF for many seasons, a USA player too, but when I needed to rebuild and save salary I finally sold him a few seasons ago.

He showed up on the TL this year because his team went bot, but his price was way beyond appropriate for his age and skills. I watched with sadness as he went unsold and wound up retired. If it wouldn't have been a financial disaster for me to buy him, I would have. But I couldn't get that soft over a bunch of code bits.
