No Serenity anymore for that team's manager. Went all out and fell just a few weeks short. Really too bad!

Looks like he didn't sell of a single player after his demotion from D1 and he had a fairly big payroll at the end of last season, somewhere near $800,000. Attendance gets killed when you demote so he was likely losing a boatload of $$$ every week.

Here's why I'm confused..manual reads:

You are given two weeks to bring your account back above -$500,000 for an economic update before your key players will be put on the transfer list automatically with a starting price of $0. If, after your players are sold, you are still not above -$500,000, you will be fired as the manager at the next economic update

Not just key players were sold automatically, all but 2 were

No bids on those 2 ? That would explain why he only has 2 guys left.

Key players seems like a vague statement. Anytime I've seen a backruptcy, everybody over a certain salary gets put on the market for $1 and that cutoff seems to be around $10,000.

The funny part to me is that SN wrote this in the Naismith team just last season. I guess 'quite a bit of cash' is a somewhat relative term.

I know my team is weak, but I'd like to point out that given the age of my team you cannot possibly guess how much is in my bank. I actually have quite a bit of cash, but I don't think my team is ready for me to spend it just now.

Wasn't bankruptcy, it was boredom. I need to start from scratch to make the game fun again.

I've been on here a pretty long time. Real life distracts - you blow training - you end up with 5 or 6 completely wasted seasons...

It just kind of makes you want to start again for fun.

If this happened to me, I would not want to go through building a new arena. Sell everyone, tank, get 3 new trainees, sink down the divisions, sure. But not start over from 0. Maybe as time goes by thoughts change on this.

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.
