Hi. My player injured. If I'd buy a doctor, or he heals faster?

A higher lvl doc will decrease heal time, but not much. See game manual.

Here is how I think it works, someone correct me if I'm wrong

Injuries happen during the game, on fouls. There is two types of injuries:
1. Mild injuries - Your player cannot continue the game, but is healthy after the game. If your doctor has taping injuries specialty, the player can return during the match. I'm not sure if players can return during the match with ordinary doctors.
2. Heavy injuries - Your player cannot continue the game, and is injured for X amount of weeks, after the game. The better your doctor is, the less the amount of weeks is.

That means, your doctor level matters only during the game in which the injury happened. It's pointless to buy a better doctor after the injury. He doesn't "heal" the player, he only sets the initial, after the game, amount of weeks.

I'm not sure on this: Are the mild/heavy injuries set, or they depend on the level of doctor. Let's say a player was injured and the doctor was level atrocious. He gets a 2 weeks injury. If the doctor was better, would there be a chance, that player is healthy after the game?

I think this topic is very debatable because some say that it will not give efficiency, others say that little bit faster heal. This season he has already received a second injury: (

It is not debatable. The game manual clearly says they have an effect on existing injuries and they do.
Each injury has a certain chance for a specific duration and the higher the doc lvl is, the more this chance is moved towards shorter durations...means short injuries get more likely and long injuries less likely.

The doc lvl has no influence on the number of injuries, this is a base chance for each player (possibly depending on some sort of hidden skill).

Once the player is injured the doc lvl has a mild influence (one or two days for longer injuries) on the duration. This is just hard to tell because you never know how many days a specific injury will last when it occurs.

What you said is what I had been told was true.

However, after reading the other posts in this thread, perhaps it is not the case.

Sorry for any misinformation.

Here's from the game manual

Doctors help reduce the severity of player injuries. Once a player is injured, a Doctor will also help him heal more quickly, but the effect is much smaller than the initial reduction in severity.
