Can anyone explain me how the Salary Floor works? My player's salary is half of this salary floor but today they charged me the total amount of the salary floor and I went red. What is this all about? I was paying the regular player's salary until last week.

In other words, I have to hire players in order to stop paying more than my current roster makes. If I'd known that before, I would've made a better tourneaument.

Isn't it a little unfair. I mean, if a team is trying to reduce costs, it's impossible to achieve this due to the salary floor. What if a fire all my players? Would I still pay that salary floor?

I will have to deal with it. I was trying to improve my arena so that I could manage higher salaries, but now I have no other choice than to look for competitive players in order to make this salary floor worth. Right now, as I said, I'm in red numbers and there's only one more revenue income in the my path. I've been reading about the finances in the last weeks of the season and I noticed they've eliminated the benefit of the fifth team, that was no salary payments for two weeks. I think I'll have to pay half of the salary for those two weeks even if I'm not getting any money as revenue. That is completely unfair since I'll only have outcome but not income (the merchandise is a joke and the TV contract goes all along with the salaries).

It's not really unfair. The TV contract covers the majority of the salary floor. For league II, it's 72%. So if you ride the salary floor, you just pay about 28% from your attendance money.

For me, merchandise covers the rest, look

Expenses Revenue
Player Salaries: $ 143 449 Attendance: $ 151 985
Staff Salaries: $ 13 044 Merchandise: $ 44 917
Scouting: $ 10 000 TV Contract: $ 102 464
Total: $ 166 493 Total: $ 299 366
Typical Weekly Net Income: $ 132 873

I still have a couple of weeks without the floor, but even when I start paying I don't think there is any way, my team becomes financially unsustainable.

You probably just spent too much on this last arena upgrade, that's why you got into debt. I find it hard to believe that you have weekly losses??

Nice job with your team btw, you improved your arena well, and have some players, now just get to the floor, and keep upgrading your team. As I said, you should be having weekly incomes, even with the salary floor.

Also, I think the 50% salary payment is only for the first week of the playoffs, QF,SF? Not for finals?

I'm trying hard to make my way to the first division, but there's much to be done before so. And the arena is as important as the training because is the main income along with the transfers.

By the way, it seems that you don't have a high level trainer, since your outcome in the staff deparment is so low. I'm currently paying more than $40 K in staff with my level 4 trainer.

I think I'll survive.
